"Biotech for smart dummies", is a blog, writing about advanced biotechnology ideas, techniques and news, targeted to people that are not professional scientists, but smart enough to understand the importance of learning bio-tech in our developing world.
This site is not intended to replace textbooks or scientific literature, but to provide my insights about biology and biotechnology.

During the posts, I'll try to pass my knowledge of biology and new technological methods in simple, fun way. The idea is to bring the joy and mystery of science to anyone who is interested in the field, from any reason it might be.

Another goal of the material I will be discussing here is to make some order in the blowing news of the biotech industry we see every day. That industry gives a great deal of promises, raising a monstrous amount of money, from people who usually have no idea what the technology is all about. So here is the place for catching up.
